Medical Exemption (Delay Discontinuation of Service)

A Medical Alert Code can be placed on your account if you, or a family member who lives with you, has a medical condition that qualifies as a medical emergency with life threatening consequences without electricity.

This code does not exclude the account from disconnection of service for non-payment. It only allows you extra time to pay the bill or to relocate the patient prior to disconnection of the service. A Customer Physician Certification Form must be filled out and signed by a physician in order for the medical alert code to be placed on the account. To request a Customer Physician Certification Form contact City Services Customer Service at 501-975-8888 or click here.
